I suppose the short story is, just another guy who seems to think he knows something about property investing. The long story involves humble beginnings, Council Estate up bringing and flying the family nest aged 16, never to look back.
Absolute nuisance
From the age of 16 to 20 the best word to describe me was a nuisance, not too dissimilar to most young men growing up in the east end of London. My saving grace was a trainee position at Adam Kennedy Estate Agents in Walthamstow, aged 20, and putting on a suit for the very first time. I had stumbled upon my passion, fell in love with property and did not look back. Within just over a year, I was made Assistant Manager, less than 2 years after that I was made Manager and in less than 2 years from then, I bought the company. Wow, what a ride that was.
Onwards and upwards
Since then, I have bought and sold almost 100 million pounds worth of property in today's money, designed planned and managed over 200 refurbishments and been a managing partner of a chain of East London Estate Agents. I have seen the good times and I have most certainly seen the bad.
My mantra, "There are more mistakes made from indecision than wrong decision".
You just need to go for it and make it happen. Just commit and work hard and the rest will fall into place.
So whats the plan now?
Property has been more than good to me. It has given me and my family the lives that we could never have imagined. And it can do that for just about anybody. But like with all things, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. You need to be shown the light and then its down to you to get there.
